Join the Water Quality Control Club
I write this a week before the monitoring book is published. We already have three water utilities in the
"Water Quality Control Club" - Waukesha Water Utility, North Shore Water Commission, and Onalaska Utilities.
These are the pioneers who comprehend the advantages to routine proactive monitoring. They are gung-ho to
use their water quality data for measurable control of water quality, for operational decision-making based on
data instead of trial and error or anecdotal evidence, and for process improvement with the economic benefits of
optimized use of treatment chemicals.
We try to pool resources to lower costs on monitoring station equipment, engineering services, and laboratory fees.
We are also trying to streamline the use of the water quality data in control charts, making it easier to use the
water quality data as quickly as possible.
We invite you to join us to move the drinking water industry into this new operational philosophy.
If you are interested,
please contact me.
From your engineering buddy,
Abigail C.
