Download and Installation Steps
  1. Read the User Guide including the System Requirements and the License Agreement for My Monitoring Data®
  2. Register for and Download the demo version of the My Monitoring Data® program (5.5 MB)
  3. Save the downloaded exe file from the Internet in a directory on the computer.
  4. Double-click the exe file in Windows Explorer. Click the Setup button to start the installation of My Monitoring Data®
  5. The downloaded exe file may be deleted after the installation process and/or transfered to other computers for installation of My Monitoring Data®
Run
  1. Click on the My Monitoring Data® icon on the computer desktop or select the program from the Start/All Programs menu
  2. The program will run for 30 days in Demo mode.
Purchase and Unlock
  1. Purchase the program from the web page, www.processresearch.net/mmdpurchase.htm
  2. Follow directions in the software to unlock the program.

If the program does not install successfully . . .

Certain components of the Windows operating system may need to be updated. The easiest action to take is to go to the Microsoft Update Web Page and run an update check on your computer operating system. Then, rerun the My Monitoring Data® program installation from Step 4 above.

If this doesn't work, then install individual components as follows:
  1. Update to .NET Framework Version 2.0
    Download the dotnetfx.exe file to a directory on your computer. In Windows Explorer, navigate to the file and double-click it. The installation program for .NET runs. The downloaded exe may be deleted after the installation process.
  2. Update to Microsoft Data Access Components (MDAC) Version 2.8 Service Pack (SP)1 or later
    Download the mdac_typ.exe to a directory on your computer. In Windows Explorer, navigate to the file and double-click it. The installation program for the Microsoft Data Access Components runs. The downloaded exe may be deleted after the installation process.
  3. Update to Windows Installer Version 3.1 or later
    Download the file to a directory on your computer. In Windows Explorer, navigate to the file and double-click it. The installation program for Windows Installer runs. The downloaded exe may be deleted after the installation process.
  4. You must also be running Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.01 or later for all installations of the .NET Framework.
  5. Rerun the My Monitoring Data® program installation from Step 4 above.
